Friends of Piano Orchestra South Wales

Friends of Piano Orchestra South Wales is dedicated to supporting the talented young musicians of Piano Orchestra South Wales (POSW) by ensuring they have the resources and opportunities to thrive. We raise funds for essential equipment, help reduce the financial burden of tours, and provide subsidies to ensure that no young musician is excluded due to financial constraints.

So far, our efforts have led to the purchase of four new pianos and have helped subsidise the cost of a memorable tour to Paris. Looking ahead, we are committed to supporting future tours, including an exciting upcoming trip to Edinburgh, and continuing to foster the growth of POSW, which has expanded to include 55 dedicated members.

Our mission is to empower these young musicians by making world-class music education and performance opportunities accessible to all, helping them reach their full potential in an inclusive and supportive environment.
